This is an exciting day for players, families and community members alike. The day begins with an all-league parade around the Valmonte Field. Once the trucks have circled back to Valmonte, the OPENING DAY ceremony will begin on the main field, followed by baseball games, rides, face painting, terrific food, silent auction and PVLL merchandise shopping.
A few important reminders for our OPENING DAY celebration:
- Each team is required to have two (2) adult volunteers to assist with Opening Day festivities at Valmonte
- Each team is asked to donate an item or basket to the PVLL silent auction by February 14, 2025.
- Each team will participate in the parade and will be responsible for having a truck (NO TOWED TRAILERS ALLOWED) at the Valmonte Parking Lot at the front of VELA at 8:00 am. Prizes are awarded for best decorated floats!
- Wristbands are $20 in advance and $30 on Opening Day! Wristbands are good for unlimited rides and games. (Food not included with wristband purchase.)
- Snack shack vouchers are available at a discounted price and sponsorship opportunities will be available as well
Bring your appetite and cash along too for all of the great food we will have to help us celebrate! The snack shack will also be open as well as other food options.
